“The aim of art is Wonder”. Perfume is an ode to art, and therefore also to Venice, which represents one of the highest expressions of artistic beauty. The eccentricity, provocation and irony of the Futurist movement inspired Giacomo Balla for his exhibition called Futurfiore, which took place at the Venice Biennale in 1926. For the occasion, the artist created a garden of synthetic flowers, inspired by the fantastic and stylized forms of Futurist art. The odorless flowers were scented by the artist. This allegory served as inspiration for creating a fragrance that could ideally be used to scent a flower, in the most complete creative imagination.
