Description

Mimosa, so typical of the Maritime Alps and Provence landscape, also came from afar. Imported from Tasmania, Acacia Dealbata was so popular with the British that they not only cultivated it at home but also spread it throughout the South of France where they wintered. The essential oil, with its beneficial calming properties, was first produced in the 1940s. In revisiting it for us, Jean Claude captured the light spirit of spring. And, as the great perfumer that he is, he signs a Mimosa Tanneron that is an ode to tenderness, sweetness, and the first emotions of love, hinted at in the middle notes of Rose and Hawthorn.
