To begin with, the value and use of cocoa by the Aztecs has nothing to do with ours. Exciting and spicy, Xocolatl was a potion reserved for kings, to whom it bestowed wisdom and power equal to that of the gods. To recreate the magical Central American world, we started again from the cocoa tree and its brown beans. We added spices and rum. Earthy and desert scents. Liqueur and dense notes. The result is a fragrance that takes hold of us, bringing into everyday life at least some of that lost magic.
