Our journey back to the motherland – the sunny Italy of Phoenicians, Greeks, Arabs, and Normans – begins with Bergamot, because this citrus fruit, halfway between lemon and bitter orange, is the king of perfumery, present in most of today’s most successful formulas.

A king, however, who, due to its volatility, had never been honored as he deserves. For this reason, we started again from the extraction, from its ancient gestures. A cut of a curved knife that removes the pulp and leaves only the peel, also called "Sponge Bergamot." The circular pressing over a natural sponge, to collect the essence. The fruity base with delicate floral notes of Jasmine in our Calabrian Bergamot thus arises from a return to the past.

The stimulating freshness, with a decidedly contemporary taste, comes instead from some exotic touches and extensive work on Bergamot, which has become persistent and energetic.
